The Resiliency Prayer and other things to be thankful for

One of the first things Chester said to me on Saturday when I came to see him in the hospital was "It's a good thing I prayed the Resiliency prayer this morning." The prayer has come up a lot this week. We taped it onto his hospital room door as a reminder that God is in control. We are so thankful that Chester was discharged from the hospital today, off all pain meds and drove himself home. We are thankful that so many loving people from our church have made this week easier for us. We are thankful that we have an upcoming appointment to meet with a surgeon in Calgary already on August 6th. We are thankful that we have a few weeks for Chester to regain health before any other procedure or surgery will be planned. We are also thankful that Rockyview hospital (where our daughter was born!) has amazing views that remind us of the power and provision of God, right out the back door. Thank you for all of your prayers and practical help,
Anna Reinemann
